Cut & Come Again / Oriental
Oriental Tree Spinach
An unusual relative of the edible weed fat hen or lamb’s quarters, easily grown, productive and spectacularly colourful annual. Grows up to 6ft. In most stages the undersides of the leaves and leaf tips are magenta pink, with a floury texture. The young leaves have a pea flavour. The mature leaves can be cooked like spinach. Exceptionally fast growing.
Stridolo (Silene Inflate)
An Italian heirlom speciality. This leafy green herb (also known as Sculpit) is a quick growing annual, making thin lance shaped leaves, with a rather delicate flavour like a mild Tarragon.
