Artichoke Green Globe
The standard green-headed variety, reaching up to 170cm in height. Attractive large blue thistle-like flower heads if allowed to flower.
Artichoke Romanesco
Later maturing than the green variety. Tight, purple heads, globe shaped. Superior flavour.
Artichoke Violet Globe
A purple globe variety, similar to Green Globe in habit, but with a finer flavour, and attractive large purple thistle-like flower heads.
Asparagus Pea
An unusual plant that produces attractive red flowers followed by angular pods. The pods should be harvested when 5-8cm in length. Sow May-June, crop August-September, needs good moisture levels.
Aubergine Baby Belle
Dwarf, compact plant which is ideal for container work. The approx. 30cm high plants bear lots of small, jet black fruits. The variety has the added benefit of being spine-free.
